I don’t post religious views…I don’t post politcal views…but there is just one thing I had to post about….

Last night, the Gators won the National Championship in football, and alas I could not watch. See, I have this theory- when I watch they dont win. So, last night, after Tebow threw the SECOND interception, I went to bed. Mark stayed up, watched a few more plays but I told him the minute he entered the room, “I dont want to know a THING”. And, he kept his word, he did not say a word…till 6 AM this morning, when he came in, softly tapped my back to wake me and whispered “The Gators are National Champions”. I got goosebumps, I know its silly, I had nothing to do with their win. But somehow, as a member of the gator nation, I feel like I did my small part by changing out of my Victoria’s Secret Gator Gear, climbing into bed, and turning the TV off. Yes, I am one of those people, especially when it comes to Gator Football. As many of you know, I attended UF many moons ago {let’s just say I was there when they won their first National Championship} and I know I bleed Orange and Blue. See, that’s the thing about growing up in the South, college Football, well that is our religion, and our politics too! So, in some small way, I helped Tebow, Harvin and Murphy too…though they may never know. I think I can definitely claim that 1/1,000,000 of that crystal trophy is mine!

PS- Hunter, I am off to buy you a #15 jersey- I always keep a promise! I cant wait to take you to see the stadium next year and hopefully see him play! Someday, I hope to see you play there!
