Some days having children is work…a whole hell of a lot of work. That’s the truth, and anyone who has a child knows exactly what I mean. And sometimes, having your own business is like having another child, you pour so much of your heart and soul into, that some days there is just not enough for much else. And some days, you have daughters and a husband {and maybe even a dog} who remind you that you neglect them just a little too often {if you know what I am saying, can you give me an amen}…As I have a daughter approaching those crazy teen years, I am reminded by my younger child to take in the simple moments, the few and far between times when they are simply being kids. Those little moments that remind me how great being a mom is. Haylee has been raised by a camera. I started my business when she was born {Crazy, huh} and she knows exactly how to pose, and smile For this shoot, which we did in December, she got to blow a little glitter, and it was one she actually enjoyed. So they say a cobblers child never has shoes, well a photographers child never has pictures! I am really trying to improve that this year, taking those small silly moments and capturing their little souls, because, before I know it, they will be in college and starting lives of their own…
Dearest Haylee, thank you for being you- your silly, full of life, abundantly happy child. Sometimes I dont say it near enough, you are so beautiful and joyful, you make my heart ache. I love you…
Love this! 🙂
here is an AMEN!!
….and i totally understand…
