Aimee and Ken got married in December at the White Room. It was one of the craziest weather days ever! We saw beautiful sun, overcast skies, fog roll in, and slight rain- which when lit outside it looked a little like snow. These two were so fabulous to work with, and were so in love. There last dance still gives me chills. As these two are about to head off to Thailand {honeymoon pics, yes please} I know they are truly enjoying their life and love together- enjoy!

I love LOVE when clients see each other before the big walk down the aisle. Its always emotional, and just gives a romantic touch to the day.
How did you two meet?
My sister used to work with Ken. We were both dating other people the
first time she tried to introduce us but it did not work out. When we
finally met on a blind date set up by her we had both moved on from
previous relationships and she was right – we hit it off. Timing is
everything 🙂
How did he propose?
I always wanted to go skydiving and Ken had ABSOLUTELY no desire to
jump out of a plane. So, when he bought me a skydiving package as a
gift for the two of us I should have known something was up. I had no
idea until I parachuted down after him and when I landed he was on one
knee.
How did you choose your theme? Flowers? and overall wedding design?
First we picked the venue. Then, I did a lot of wedding blog perusing
and saved ideas that I liked.
What was the best part of your wedding day?
Being at the altar and saying our vows with all of our loved ones there.
What do you want to always remember from your wedding day?
The first look – when we finally relaxed and had some alone time together.
“IF I only I knew!” what is one piece of advise you would give to brides planning their wedding day?
If I only knew that I had nothing to worry about because my family and
friends would pull out all the stops to make sure that there would be
NO disasters. I threw away my veil the day before the wedding (on
accident). My family and bridesmaids went dumpster diving and
eventually drove all around the city to pick out a similar veil from a
craft store.
And where are you going on your honeymoon?
Thailand – we leave in 3 weeks!!
