Getting married is a culmination of so many things- families, ideas, love, and a life long of planning {for most women}. This wedding was no different, and was pulled off fabulously. Alissa and Kyle planned a gorgeous sunset ceremony at the Oldest House, and a fabulous reception on the roof at the white roof- and with the most perfect weather I have ever seen in January, its just what they got! Alissa planned it all around Tiffany blue, her faborite color, and added loads of sparkle to give it a winter feel. With the help of the amazing crew at Liz Stewart, she got the tourquise winter wonderland she had hoped for!
Thanks you two for allowing me to be a part of your day- I hope that your lives are filled with all of the love of your wedding day, and all of the FUN!

I loved Alyssa’s eyes, the detail of the blues, just made her face light up!
Girl, can you say amazing?!?
A little serious and a little fun- Alyssa, I hope it rivals the family photo!
How did you two meet? according to kyle, we met in 2003 at ucf when i “hit on him” in the laundry room … i have never had any recollection of such things so MY first memory meeting him was actually through a mutual friend and their house! 🙂
How did he propose? went up to st augustine for a little get away. i was running low on patience bc i thought it would never happen. we climbed the lighthouse (3 months after breaking both of my feet), went out for dinner and drinks and then walked over to that little park area across from the oldest house. and low and behold it finally happened!
How did you choose your theme? Flowers? and overall wedding design? aqua/turquoise/seafoam green have always always been my favorite colors so i figured instead of picking just one shade why not cover the whole spectrum :). as you know i ran into some issues with getting all the colors to match! wanted to keep the flowers white and have somewhat of a lighter wintery theme. anytime i saw something sparkly i wanted to add that in somehow. so thats why i ordered the glitter branches for the centerpieces and made a lot of the things (table #s, mr. and mrs. signs, wedding sign, card box, canvas). tiffany from liz stewart was amazing at helping come up with so many ideas and helping me with what i had in mind! she was wonderful!!!
What was the best part of your wedding day? the best part may have been finally getting to see all of our guests for the first time. it was so hard to be able to talk to everyone but so great to see everyone together in one place.
What do you want to always remember from your wedding day? how good of a time everyone had, the amazing food/cake, the relief of everything being over with
“IF I only I knew!” what is one piece of advise you would give to brides planning their wedding day? ativan (ha prob not appropriate)!! … id say staying away from people/things that you know will only stress you out that much more. try to enjoy every minute. give yourself a minute to breathe before the ceremony
And where are you going on your honeymoon? we did a “mini moon” at the ritz cartlon in amelia island for 2 nights. it was nice to relax for once but we were ready to head home. plus i somehow lost my toiletry bag and had to rewear the same pair of daily contacts so im sure that didnt help! actual honeymoon… to be continued!
