Lord, I love weddings- there is so much excitement in the air, so much love, its like a rush. Seriously, to shoot weddings, I think you have to be an adrenaline junky! This wedding was no different, you could see the love between Brandi and Charlie throughout each and every moment. Even in their pre-wedding questionaire Brandi commented on how she just wanted to start her life with Charlie. After the wedding was done, Stacy and I spent an extra hour just chatting with these two because they are that fabulous–Only to discover they live across the street!

Brandi and Charlie- There are NO WORDS! The love that you two showed me on the day of your wedding is amazing, HUGE! I am so thankful your two walked into my life! I hope that the two of you remember the love you shared on your wedding day, the love that your families showered you with. Life is so crazy, its wonderful to have someone by your side who “gets you” makes the crazy journey wothwhile. I love you both, and cant wait to share cocktails by the pool this summer!

How did you two meet? We met at work. 🙂

How did he propose? Our favorite place to go – and our first date- was in st augustine. One day he was just like let’s go out – on a whim. While we were walking around it started to rain so we ran for cover under a building. We were looking in the windows to see what it was and he called me around the corner to look in the window he was looking in and he wAs on his knee. It was perfect!

How did you choose your theme, flowers, and overall wedding design? I am very simple when it comes to details. I knew I wanted the color purple to be the main theme in memory of someone special who couldn’t be there. That was the main thing. Our wedding planner was a friend so I trusted her with the details – she called it all simple elegance. I never knew what flowers we were having till I saw them that day. Blown away.

What was the best part of your wedding day? Of course, seeing Charlie for the 1st time that day. I recommend the 1st look photos. He made me feel do calm and at ease.

What do you want to always remember from your wedding day? How beautiful the whole thing went with our closest family and friends.

“IF I only I knew!” What is one piece of advise you would give to brides planning their wedding day? It all comes together in the end. You have your groom standing there waiting for you – nothing else really matters in the end (like my kissing bridal hanger that I almost had a meltdown over, lol)

Where are you going on your honeymoon? We just got back from Mexico. We stayed at a fabulous all inclusive and it was beautiful.
