How did you two meet?
My mom introduced us.
How did he propose?
He planned to propose on a trip we had planned for last April, but two weeks after getting the ring he could not wait any longer and surprised me New Years Day while we were still in bed together.
How did you choose your theme, flowers, and overall design for your wedding?
I knew I wanted the wedding to be simple and elegant so I tried to stick to that theme when making our selections.
What was the best part of your wedding day?
The whole thing! But if I had to pick one part it would be seeing Jeffery for the first look pictures.
What do you want to always remember from your wedding day?
The last dance when Jeffery and I were on the roof top alone together. I was so grateful that everything had gone as planned and we had such a great day.
Where are you going on your honeymoon?
We went to a Sandals resort in St. Lucia. It was awesome!
Is there any extra notes or details about your day?
We had our good friend perform the ceremony for us and it put us both at ease. My friend and co-worker made the wedding cake and my mom’s best friend made the centerpieces. Having our friends be so involved in the process made everything feel more personal and special.
