Oh blog, how I have neglected you, left you alone for so long. I do hope in time you will forgive me for the lack of time I have shown you…
I am not sure where my summer has gone- I cant believe its almost August and I have not even blogged a single vacation photo! I am so behind on sessions, which I will have to catch up on {thank heavens for Facebook or my clients would have run to the hills}.
Whew…on to Jessica and Jody. Jessica came into my life through a referral, and we started chatting a few months ago about her fabulous wedding planned for friday the 13th {thats right, she calls herself the “friday the 13th bride}. These two are planning a fabulous shindig at one of my all time fave locations Palm Valley gardens. Well, as I started talking to Jess, I realized she had been at the venue a few days before..and so had I…and we had been chatting! It was destiny in the making! The more we talked, the more I just adored her- her sunny personality came screaming through the phone. When these two decided to have me photograph their wedding I could not have been more excited!
So, yesterday, we headed out to Magnolia Street and Castle Otttis to photograph their e-session. It was the first time I had met Cody, and his Daughter Miss Sophie- and I adored them as much as Jessica! First Miss Sophie has the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen and when she looks at you, well they melt you just like a pool of yummy chocolate- and add in her curly hair- and well, I am just done for! And Jody was just as Fab- he smiled, and laughed and enjoyed every ounce of torture I put him through {did I mention with the humidity it was about 107}! But more than that, it was the way Jody looked at Jessica when he thought I was not looking, or the way he kissed her, or whispered in her ear. These two just feel each other, from the inside out, and it makes documenting their love story an amazing experience.
A few shots from their St. Augustine Engagement Shoot…
I love the way Jess laugh’s- it makes me smile to just see it!
Jessica- could you be any more Fabulous in this picture- You ROCK!
Like I said- Big Yummy eyes- oh, and that hair! I could not be more envious…let’s hope she never takes scissors to it!
That’s right Jody, I caught you looking at the surf 🙂
