Photographing this St. Augustine wedding was one of the those relaxed days, the venue was all in one place {thats our favorite, for logistics sake}, the beautiful details, but most of all, a relaxed in love couple, who 100% trusts us, and our vision. And while we had some rain, and clouds, we also had the most amazing sunset sky, with beautiful lightning to set the sky ablaze. Since I love sunset photos, this was my favorite time of the day. Of course, we also love the time alone with the couple. It’s like a little bit of a “time out” and after all the busy rush-rush, the time where Hilaree and Ben get to just be with each other is amazing!
Your wedding day was so wonderful, It’s couples like you that make what I do worth it. Thank you both for having me be a part of your day!

How did he propose?
Ben took me to the Fountain of Youth to watch the Independence Day fireworks last 4th of July. He had been standing with me as we watched, but he left during the grand finale. When I started to look for him, I saw that he was on one knee in front of the water with the fireworks blasting behind him.
How did you choose your theme? Flowers? and overall wedding design?
We are really laid back and wanted everyone to feel at ease. My favorite flowers are tulips and pink hydrangeas, and our florist did a fabulous job making everything look beautiful and natural.
What was the best part of your wedding day?
Walking down the aisle with my dad as Ms. Burdette and walking back down the aisle with Ben as Mrs. Hudson.
What do you want to always remember from your wedding day?
I want to remember all of our wonderful friends who came from near and far to celebrate with us. We will forever be grateful to all of them.
“IF I only I knew!” what is one piece of advise you would give to brides planning their wedding day?
Just relax and have fun. Try to speak to as many people as possible, and try to build in enough time to enjoy everything.
And where are you going on your honeymoon?
We are going to London! It’s going to be fabulous!
