This past weekend Mark and I traveled up to Crawfordsville, IN for Hunter’s first communion. We had an action packed weekend with a stop at Zeta Tau Alpha’s National office, which is in Indy. I have never been before, and it was amazing to see the history of my chapter. I saw my link, all your ZTA’s out there know what that is, and I saw some of the alpha chapter’s pledge pins. The IO had just been redecorated, it was gorgeous! On Saturday, we took the boys to the Children’s museum in Indy, and did it at about Mach 5! Mark and I could have spent days in there, what a neat place! The museum had the most beautiful glass sculpture by Dale Chihuly. His work is amazing! On Sunday we headed to Crawfordsville to meet up with Jenn, Hunter and Cam’s mom, her other son, Luke and the rest of Hunter’s Family {although Grandparent’s Hite were unable to make the drive due to some upcoming back surgery-YUCK}. The service was so sweet, 20 children who did their first communion, and then we headed to Pizza Hut for a little pizza party! Lord, I love Pizza Hut! The cake was wonderful, made by Hunter’s maternal grandmother! of course, I do love cake, LOL!
