Lindsay and Nick chose the Ribault Club as the backdrop for their amazing southern soiree, and the location could not have been more perfect! Shea Hopely did a beautiful job with decorations for the venue- giving it that warm southern feel. And Matthew’s provided some amazing yummies as well! These two danced together most of the evening and thoroughly enjoyed every moment together. As they left in their Rolls Get -away car and gave each other a sweet little kiss, I knew these two had enjoyed a magical wedding day!
Thanks guys for allowing me to capture the two of you and your wonderful friends and family! Such an amazing day!
How did you two meet? we were co-workers for about a year, before I went to law school
How did he propose? He took me to the Magic Kingdom (I love Disney). He did some research and found a somewhat secluded wishing well by Cinderella’s castle. He took me over there and gave me a quarter to make a wish in the well, then he proposed! It was awesome!
How did you choose your theme? Flowers? and overall wedding design? I fell in love with the old-fashioned, southern feel of the Ribault Club and I wanted it to have that kind of a feel so the flowers, menu and everthing kind of evolved from there.
What was the best part of your wedding day? My favorite part of the wedding was the ceremony, it was so beautiful. I loved walking down the aisle and seeing our closest family and friends – and of course, my husband! The church had such a warm and intimate feeling, I could feel the love in the room and it was amazing.
What do you want to always remember from your wedding day? I always want to remember how happy I felt. It was such an awesome day, I will probably never get to have all of those special people in the same room again so I hope I never forget how happy and loved I felt.
“IF I only I knew!” what is one piece of advise you would give to brides planning their wedding day? Don’t sweat the small stuff – there is always going to be mishaps, last minute disasters, family drama, etc. Just remember the whole point is to marry the person you love – don’t lose sight of that, or let anything ruin it!
And where are you going on your honeymoon?
