Mallory and Jeff tied the knot on a perfect fall day at the River House. These two had so much fun together, and took total advantage of having an extra hour to do pictures of the two of them. Having alone time was so great, not only for me {I know, selfish much} but also for them. The took took the time to take in the day, all the emotion, and all the fun!

How did you two meet? 

We were both out with friends one night and I recognized one of Jeff’s friends. Soon Jeff and I were talking and he asked me if I would go to dinner with him and we have been together ever since!

How did he propose? 

He proposed on Christmas Eve when all my family was in town. He wanted to go for a walk on the dock in my parents neighborhood, but, like most stories, I didn’t want to go. So, instead, he told me that my Christmas present was so big that I needed to come outside to help him. Once we were outside, he knelt down and asked me to marry him!

How did you choose your theme, flowers, and overall wedding design?

I spent the week after our engagement going through magazines and blogs and decided I wanted a more neutral color scheme with blush and champagne. One of the first things I did was choose the colors of the bridesmaid dresses (champagne, dusty rose, and blush) and everything just went from there.

What was the best part of your wedding day?

Marrying my best friend!

What do you want to always remember from your wedding day?

Everything! but especially the feeling of walking down the aisle to Jeff. I was so excited and happy and never want to forget that feeling.

“If I Only Knew!” What is the one piece of advice you would give to brides planning their wedding day?

Don’t stress the small stuff and always remember what the day is really about.

Where are you going on your Honeymoon?

Hopefully Brazil in May! If not, we will pick somewhere in the Caribbean to relax a couple months after the wedding.
