Mandy and Kyle’s wedding came to me from one of my favorite local wedding photographers. She told me when she referred them, how amazingly sweet the family was. I knew from what I heard that I would love the families involved, but I did not know how much. Mandy and Kyle are two of the sweetest people I have ever worked with. From the engagement shoot, to their wedding day, I had so much fun with them. But together, with their families, well, it was pure Fun, I mean magic! I loved watching her with her mother, and her sister. As a mom of two girls, it makes me so hopeful that my two girls will be this close someday!

I loved Mandy’s hair while the curl was setting. I also loved watching her maids practice their line dancing!
Mandy wore her sisters dress, but had it customized. She had straps added, and her mom made the custom belt.
I loved when her maids saw her with her hair all done…
I made Mandy re-read Kyles letter to her when I got there…yeah, it was so sweet, she cried twice!
I loved Kyle’s princess card {esp since its Haylee’s favorite princess}, and I loved the cross necklace that Kyle got as Mandy’s wedding day gift.
Allie, I had to do it! It was the BEST face!
This face was pretty good too! Getting her boots on was a challenge-even with her sexy socks!
I loved to watch Mom with both girls, you can see the amazing relationship they all share…
The Bridesmaids first look of Mandy…
All the siblings…
How fabulous are these flowers!
…and the boots…
…and Mandy! She is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside!

and with mom…
Mandy kept the decor perfect- comfortable, and southern. She wanted to show Kyles Northern family a good Southern time!
Kyle’s first glimpse of Mandy…
Kyle and Mandy made a cross together during the service…
yes, a perfectly scripted, two stepping, swinging, dance! I would expect nothing less!
BEST part of the day- So, Mandy and Allie joke that they each married their equivalent in spouses, aparently Kyle is just like Allie, quiet, more reserved, while Mandy is outgoing, and a tad, crazy. So, allie decided for her speech to give Mandy a whole new side of her- she got up in front of all 150 guests and performed a rap, to Fresh prince of bel air- it was hysterical, sung perfectly, and the lyrics, GENIUS! I think it is safe to say. Mandy LOVED it! Well done Allie!
My other favorite family moment- when the four of them danced together- Dad, Mom, and their two daughters. Mom and dad deserved it- two weddings in 15 months! HOLY MOLY!
Mandy and Kyle- your love story is beautiful- from Kyle working so hard to get up the courage to ask you out, to getting married on your one year anniversary, you two are set for a lifetime of love and romance. Tell each other every day how lucky you are, and never forget how happy you two make each other. I was blessed to be a part of your day, and the beginning of your new family. Congrats you two!
How did you two meet?
We met at our church. I would practically beg him to talk to me but he was too scared for quite awhile. It took a lot of courage for him to pick me up on our first date.
How did he propose? He emailed with my principal and surprised me by coming into my class on the last day and getting down on one knee in front of all of my students.
How did you choose your theme? Flowers? and overall wedding design?
We are pretty casual people and we love to be outdoors. We decided to choose a country garden theme because it perfectly captures us a couple. Kyle’s family lives in Ohio and we wanted to show them a good time, Florida cracker style. Also, yellow just happens to be my favorite color so it definitely made it’s way into our decor 🙂
What was the best part of your wedding day?
The best part was walking down the aisle to see Kyle for the first time. Celebrating with all of our loved ones was a close second!
What do you want to always remember from your wedding day?
I want to always remember the look on my husband’s face as he saw me for the first time. Our ceremony was so special and intimate.
“IF I only I knew!” what is one piece of advise you would give to brides planning their wedding day?
All the little things you obsess over are the things you won’t even notice on the day of. You get so caught up in the moment that nothing else matters besides the love you have for your spouse.
And where are you going on your honeymoon?
As I type this, we are boarding our cruise ship in San Juan. We will be cruising to Barbados, Antigua, St Lucia, St Kitts, and St. Maarten!
Beautiful job! I’m so glad you all were the perfect match!
