This weekend I had the honor of photographing Shannon and Chris’s wedding day. Surrounded by friends and family, the two said “I do” at the World Golf Village Renaissance Hotel. And while the weather was unattractive at best, the bride more than made up for it, she was absolutely gorgeous! Its no wonder Chris was wowed when she walked down the aisle! I have to say, these two are some of the sweetest people I have had the privilege to photograph. Chris is caring and his love for Shannon is written on his sleeve, I just love seeing that! And Shannon, well she is in a class all her own, one of the most honest and decent human beings I have ever met! These two have truly found their soul mates, and seeing there faces on Sunday verified that to me!

Then we were lucky enough to head outside before it rained. It was windy, but the girls were great about being outside. I love working with women who will work hard for the shot!

The Flowers were done by Rose of Sharon, Shannon had the most gorgeous bouquet of Calla Lilly’s, which I think has to be the most beautiful flower. She wove a special bracelet belonging to her mom in the flowers as well. Shannon looked so elegant in her dress, and I think the flowers were the perfect touch to accent her look.

They had a fabulous reception, with some of the best DJ’s I have ever heard- they actually played some hits I had not heard in years- It was GREAT!

The Cake was by Publix, and they did such a fabulous job! Although, I am a bad person to ask, I love CAKE!

I had such a wonderful time working with you guys over the last 5 months, you two are amazing people individually, but together…watch out world! I wish you two love, happiness and joy every day of your life, and I hope you two are as happy in your marriage as you were the day of your wedding.
