Yesterday was one of those days that Haylee and I will remember for the rest of her life. Mark sent me a message around 3PM that Haylee had “cut” her hair. Of course, I thought, how much damage could she REALLY do! She is old enough to know to STOP when the hair starts falling, RIGHT?? So, when I see her, I think, whew, its just the bangs. Then we start cleaning the room and find a huge wad of hair- it must be from her doll, right? RIGHT??? At this point, I am in tears! My poor baby has butchered her hair!
So, of course I am thinking PIXIE cut to fix this mess. She is crying because she is afraid she will look like a boy. All around, it was traumatic for everyone. So, today we headed to see Amanda at Friseur Salon to have her do damage control. That probably should have been the easy part- but alas, as I have learned with my sprited child, nothing is ever easy! Because her hair was so short on the right side, Amanda had to make it even in the back- and Haylee was so afraid of being cut, she screamed bloody murder! In the end, her hair looks cute, and she likes it- but it requires me to blow dry it {due to Haylee’s collicks and pin straight hair}. School should be fun for the next few weeks!
And now, without further adieu….
the new DO!
Love it! Sassy & cute!
