This past weekend was Miss Ashleigh’s birthday, and as you can see, she turned 6. We celebrated on Sunday, with pizza {a 6 year olds dream dinner} and presents. Ashleigh waited patiently till Sunday to open all of her presents, and at the last minute Mark had to fly out for business, so we headed over to Lyn’s for some yummies! Ash had a blast opening things…but I think Haylee had more fun! I cant even imagine what its like to have a sister, someone to share these things with! Of course, Ashleigh is still learning that! everything she got, Haylee wanted to play with! She kept trying to figure out how to put on lipgloss {you mean I DON’T eat it} and perfume {I dont put it UNDER my dress}. But it was cute watching them! After pizza we, of course, had camicakes and I will say again…If I die tomm, please make sure I eat the double chocolate cupcake from that store! They are so divine…I dont even want to know what she puts in that frosting!
As you can see by the plate of crumbs, NOTHING was left of the cupcakes {or pizza}. At the end of the evening Haylee showed off her fabulous walking skills on the stairwell – I just love the diaper hanging down! As she was walking down the stairwell, I captured an image of her that I cant help but wonder if it will reduce her dad to tears! Does anyone else see her looking like a mini bride?? I cant help but fast forward 30 years, to seeing her do the same thing in a big white gown, with her daddy by her side {note to self, print this image, you will want it in 30 years}.
we finished off the night singing and dancing, which is one of Haylee’s and Ash’s favorite past times {ash was off playing with her best friend and her new toys}. Haylee’s dancing skills are a riot! I promise to show more of those in the future!
Anyways, Happy B-day ash! I am so proud of you and the beautiful girl you are becoming!
Now, Daddy, didn’t cry because I’m at a client but they did get a little wet. She looks adorable..good job mom!
