“You wear white and I’ll wear out the words I love you

And you’re beautiful”

It all started in high school, from the moment Charlie saw Jami he was smitten. A year apart, and from different areas of South Florida, they did not formally meet until a mutual friend introduced. Charlie admired her from afar though, feeling like she was “out of his league”. But that didn’t stop him from telling his best friend that he would marry that girl someday.

Well, Someday came on a perfect sunny day in February where the two said there vows overlooking the water in Saint Augustine. The wedding was at the Sanchez House and was the perfect venue for Jami and Charlie to promise to love and cherish each other. A little rustic, and a lot of charm- it was the most amazing spot for them to start their lives together. Jami and Charlie saw each other before hand during their “first look” and I’m telling you, the emotion and the love could have melted the pavement. These two told me going in to their wedding day that the most important thing was pictures of the two of them- so Stacy and I made that happen! We had some of the most amazing light at sunset, and a couple who could not stop staring at each other- it was fabulous!

If you ask Charlie, it was the best day of his life, he married his best friend. Someone who he shares values with- the person who taught him love and appreciation for the small things, and if you watch him for any length of time, you’ll catch him staring at her. He’ll tell you, she is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. And then you’ll catch Jami glancing at him, and smiling, the kind of smile that lights up her whole face- because she knows she married her best friend too- the man who has such depth, he too shows her the appreciation of all the small things- to stop and smell the roses; the man who makes her smile and feel care-free and silly. Their love affair and friendship has spanned seven years, and is as perfect now, as it was when it started.

Jami and Chrlie- you two are amazing. Two people who were made for each other, and remind us all, that love is a daily devotional. You two melted our cameras, and made photographing you as easy as breathing. I cant say it enough- I hope that you two relish in that love for the rest of your lives, and when you look at your wedding day pictures, remember every ounce of that smoldering passion and devotion!

Congratulations!

These two had so much fun doing their couple shots- you can see the love and adoration in everything they do- LOVE IT!

Love the orange- it fit Jami’s sunny personality perfectly. The flowers were made by the bridesmaids!

The cake- designed by Charlie and creadted by Defore’s Cakes

Jami and Charlie are two of the most sentimental people I have met- they placed a baseball hat on a chair for a friend of theirs who passed away, and a framed image of Charlie’s mom, who the family lost to cancer when Charlie was very young.

The most emotional and poignant first dance I have ever photographed- stacy and I were in tears too!

Additional Vendors-

Sanchez House

Defore’s Cakes

David’s Bridal

Caterer- RSVP Catering {Amazing!
